Tree Plan is unique in that we rely not only on individual donations for the planting of trees, but we also partner with businesses all around the world to create marketing campaigns. Each campaign encourages environmentally conscious consumers to purchase products that support the planting of new trees. One purchase equals one new tree planted. Buy products, plant trees! The key factor is that the consumer is not paying for the tree; it is paid for by the company that partnered with Tree Plan.
CAN ANY BUSINESS PARTNER WITH TREE PLAN?
Most business partners will be accepted, with some exceptions. If your company is known for contributing to pollution in the environment, then we are not a match and will not partner with you. We will not allow businesses to use Tree Plan for “green-washing.” Green-washing is when a company creates a thin veneer of environmental friendliness while adopting practices that in reality are harmful to the environment.
Tree Plan works with a variety of partners! From a theatre company that plants a new tree for every ticket sale to large multinational companies offering to plant trees for each business-to-business deal. We work with a diverse mixture of companies all of whom support our mission.
HOW DOES IT WORK?

SUPPORTING TREE PLAN IS 100% DEDUCTIBLE FOR BUSINESSES
Tree Plan is a for-profit sustainable business. This means that partnering business can fully deduct their support from their taxable income. With normal donations, companies can deduct up to 50%, if they’re fortunate. Tree Plan, however, is 100% deductible.
How does this work? Businesses that offer to “plant a tree for every purchase” don't send money to Tree Plan in the form of donations. Instead, they’re invoiced for the trees as part of a marketing campaign. It’s a marketing expense, meaning that 100% of the costs are deductible.
