Australia Independent Film Festival goes 'climate neutral', powered by Tree Plan.

The Australia Independent Film Festival is an annual Australian film festival that was founded in February 2018 by Brisbane filmmakers Richard Lawton and Jeremy Rigby. They had a shared dream of creating a film festival built on trust, openness and communication that would showcase and celebrate the very best in independent cinema from Australia and around the world.

Known as “the festival where stars shine,” the Australia Independent Film Festival (AIFF) is on track to become Australia's premiere short film festival. Founded in 2017 AIFF has grown from strength to strength and is now a prominent event on the festival circuit.

To offset the carbon footprint of their upcoming edition the festival directors decided to plant 100 trees with Tree Plan.

50 trees were planted in Kenya and 50 trees in Haiti.
