In order to offset their carbon footprint and become a ‘climate neutral film event’, the Deauville Green Awards teamed up with Tree Plan and planted 1553 trees at the Eden Reforestation Projects in Madagascar.

Deauville Green Awards is a professional festival for films dedicated to ecology and social responsibility.

The festival brings together the best of responsible audiovisual since 2012. More than 500 films from all over the world, committed to ecology and social responsibility, compete each year for the Grand Prix and the Golden Trophy in the festival's 3 competitions.

A place to discover new trends

Through the screening of the 100 finalist films of the annual competition in the presence of the teams, numerous workshops and expert round tables, the festival inspires and gives the tools to scientists and makers as well as producers, broadcasters and advertisers to speak with sincerity about the environmental and societal issues we are facing.

In the Innovation marketplace, festival-goers can meet audiovisual and sustainable development exhibitors who share innovative and eco-responsible shooting, post-production and digital solutions.

The networking event for the industry

The festival is the meeting place for the advertising, corporate communication, fiction and documentary communities that are committed to social and ecological responsibility. Between producers, advertisers and broadcasters, more than 400 professionals from these worlds meet in Deauville each year: ADEME, BBC, Canal +, FranceTV, UN, Orange, SNCF, Véolia, WWF, ZDF, etc. Tailor-made appointments, cocktails and evening meetings are organized to facilitate meetings with your prospects, service providers and future employees. Also, each year, the pitch sessions allow the curation and the birth of collaborations around committed and original film projects, pre-selected by the festival.

ABOUT TREEPLAN.ORG

As ambition grows, so do forests.

Every organization leaves a footprint. At Treeplan, we believe that footprint can be a positive one.

Founded within the creative industries, Treeplan was created to help organizations transform their growth into lasting environmental impact. What began with film festivals, cultural events, and artistic initiatives has evolved into a broader mission: helping companies, institutions, and communities create living ecological legacies.

We believe that every ambitious project should leave something behind that continues to grow long after the event has ended, the product has launched, or the company has reached its next milestone. Through forest creation and ecosystem restoration, Treeplan helps organizations turn their success into something tangible, lasting, and alive.

Every organization deserves a forest.

A company has a logo. A website. An office. A team.

But what if it also had a forest?

A place in the world that exists because of its vision, its growth, and its contribution.

At Treeplan, we help organizations establish and support forests as a symbol of their commitment to future generations. Whether you are a startup, a film festival, a university, a cultural organization, or an international company, we provide a framework through which ambition can create lasting ecological value.

From projects to forests

Treeplan works with organizations of all sizes to support reforestation and ecosystem restoration initiatives around the world.

Each participating organization becomes part of a growing community committed to one simple principle:

As ambition grows, so do forests.

Join the movement

Build a forest. Leave a legacy. Grow something that will outlive us all.
